Introduction

Silicon carbide (SiC) is one of the hardest synthetic materials available, second only to diamond. Grinding it requires a machine that is even tougher. Our specialized SiC fine grinding mills are engineered for this extreme duty. While most mills are rated for Mohs hardness <7, this specialized series uses advanced materials and grinding principles to process materials with a Mohs hardness of 9+. We can efficiently reduce SiC into precisely graded micro-powders for use in advanced abrasives, ceramics, and electronics, where particle size control is absolutely critical.
