Standard Operating Procedure

1. Startup Sequence:
Start the equipment in the correct order: Dust Collector -> Blower -> Main Mill -> Feeder. This establishes airflow before material is introduced.

2. Feeding:
Gradually increase the feeder speed until the main motor amperage reaches its optimal level (typically 80-90% of full load). Do not overload the mill.

3. Monitoring:
During operation, monitor the main motor amperage, mill temperature, and listen for any unusual sounds. Check the final product for correct fineness.

4. Shutdown Sequence:
Stop the equipment in the reverse order: Feeder -> Main Mill -> Blower -> Dust Collector. Allow the mill to run for a few minutes after stopping the feed to clear all material.
